Almost 200 former colleagues and friends of Luca met in Pavia to share and honor their memories of him. 28 of them spoke, addressing the audience with talks that had to be kept very short, in order there to be time to host them all. Many more of those present would have spoken, and we would here like to thank them for their willingness. Time stops for no man.
The first intervention, by
Matteo Cavalli-Sforza, Luca’s eldest son and himself a Ghislieri alumnus, introduces the memorial.
Violetta, his daughter, chaired the event. His other two sons,
Francesco and
Luca Tommaso, were also there. Each of the following speakers can be accessed individually, by clicking/tapping on the respective name. You will be redirected to a video on YouTube. Each speech is in the language chosen by the speaker, English or Italian. The slides screened by some of the speakers are available through a separate link in the video’s description.
